Resonance Production and the Approach to Feynman Scaling

Abstract: (APS)
In the framework of the uncorrelated jet model, we show that multiparticle production through intermediate resonances leads to late Feynman scaling in the central region. Our results are found to agree well with high-energy data on the "rise of the plateau" and on pion multiplicity behavior.- MODEL: JET
