Abstract:
The angular distributions and the differential branching fraction of the decay B0K0μ+μ\text{B}^{0} \rightarrow \text{K}^{*0} \mu^{+} \mu^{-} are studied using an integrated luminosity of 5.2~\fbinv of data collected with the CMS detector. The forward-backward asymmetry of the muons AFBA_{FB}, the K0\text{K}^{\ast 0} longitudinal polarization fraction FLF_{L}, and the differential branching fraction dB/dq2{\rm d}\mathcal{B}/{\rm d}q^{2}, are determined as a function of the dimuon invariant mass squared. The measurements are in good agreement with the standard model.
