Abstract:
This document reports on a search for the associated WH Higgs boson production in the three lepton final state in pp collisions at s=\sqrt{s} = 7 and 8~TeV\mathrm{Te\kern -0.1em V}. The event sample corresponds to the full integrated luminosity collected by the CMS detector at the LHC in 2011 and 2012, corresponding to 4.94.9 fb1^{-1} and 19.519.5 fb1^{-1}, respectively. Candidates are selected in events with three leptons, large transverse missing energy and low hadronic activity. Each lepton may be an electron or a muon. No significant excess of events above the background expectation is observed. The observed (expected) upper limits on the WH cross section at the 95\% confidence level are about 3.3 (3.0) times larger than the predicted standard model cross section for mH=125 GeVm_{\mathrm{H}}=125~\,\mathrm{Ge\kern -0.1em V}.
