Study of the inclusive production of charged pions, kaons, and protons in p-Pb collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 5.02 TeV

Abstract:
Spectra of identified charged hadrons are measured in p-Pb collisions
at the LHC at 5.02\TeV. Charged pions, kaons, and protons in
the transverse-momentum range \pt \approx 0.1--1.7~GeV/ and laboratory
rapidities are identified via their energy loss in the CMS silicon
tracker. The average increases rapidly with the mass of the hadron
and the charged-particle multiplicity of the event. The fully corrected
spectra and integrated yields are compared to pp and Pb-Pb data at
various collision energies and to several Monte Carlo event generators.Note:
