Abstract:
% A measurement of the inclusive jet cross section, double-differential in jet transverse momentum and absolute jet rapidity , is presented. Data from LHC proton-proton collisions at \sqrt{s}=8\TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of , have been collected with the CMS detector. Jets are reconstructed with the anti- clustering algorithm for a jet size parameter in a phase space region ranging up to jet transverse momenta of TeV and an absolute rapidity of . The measured jet cross section is corrected for detector effects and compared to predictions of perturbative QCD at next-to-leading order using various sets of parton distribution functions.%Note:
