Abstract:
This paper presents the measurement of bosons in the dimuon and dielecton channels in PbPb collisions made by the CMS experiment at the LHC at ~TeV. The analysis is based on a data sample collected during the PbPb run in 2011, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of about 150~b and on the pp data sample collected during 2013 with an integrated luminosity of ~pb. The nuclear modification factor is calculated and found to be consistent with unity for all -boson rapidity and transverse momentum, as well as PbPb reaction centrality, showing that production scales with the number of incoherent nucleon-nucleon collisions.Note:
