Abstract:
This document reports on measurements of WW bosons produced in pPb collisions at nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy sNN=5.02\sqrt{s\rm{_{NN}}}=5.02 TeV with the CMS detector. The analysis has been performed in the muon plus neutrino and in the electron plus neutrino channels, using a data sample with integrated luminosity of 34.6 nb1^{-1}. For leptons of transverse momentum higher than 25 GeV/cc, the differential cross sections, lepton-charge and forward/backward asymmetries are computed as a function of the lepton pseudorapidity. Some of these observables deviate from expectations based on unmodified nucleon parton distribution functions. They set significant constraints on the nuclear modifications of parton densities.
