Abstract:
Z boson production in association with jets is studied using a sample of proton-proton collisions data collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC at TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of fb. Z bosons are identified via their decays to pairs. Jets are reconstructed in an extended rapidity region, . The double differential cross section with respect to transverse momentum and the rapidity of the highest jet, is measured. The measurements are compared to the predictions of Monte Carlo generators.Note:
