Abstract:
The differential cross sections for the production of a photon pair in association with jets are measured using a sample of pp collisions collected by the CMS experiment in 2011 at ~TeV, and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0~. A template fit to the photon isolation distribution is used to statistically evaluate the fraction of prompt diphoton events in data. Several differential observables are studied with inclusive 1-jet and 2-jet selections. Results are compared to QCD theoretical predictions at leading and next-to-leading order.Note:
