Search in two-dimensional mass space for T'T' to W'b W' b in the dilepton final state in proton-proton collisions at 8 TeV

Abstract:
A search for TTˉW+bWbˉ\mathrm{T'\bar{T'}\rightarrow W'^{+}b W'^{-}\bar{b}} in the dilepton final state is presented using pp collision data recorded by the CMS detector corresponding to 19.7 fb1^{-1} of integrated luminosity. The analysis is based on a two-dimensional mass reconstruction of the TTˉ\mathrm{T'\bar{T'}} system performed without assumptions about the underlying theory except the event topology. No significant excess over the standard model predictions is observed. We set 95%\% confidence level upper limits on a simplified little Higgs model.
