Abstract:
The B+^+ meson differential cross sections, as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity, are measured in pp collisions at center-of-mass energy s=13\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV, on the basis of a data sample collected by the CMS experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 50.8 pb1^{-1}. The measurement uses the exclusive decay channel B+J/ψ K+\mathrm{B}^+ \to \mathrm{J}/\psi~\mathrm{K}^+, with the J/ψ\mathrm{J}/\psi decaying to a pair of muons. The results are compared with theory calculations and with measurements made at 7 TeV.
