Abstract:
The search for the production of a pair of Higgs bosons, in the final states containing two photons and two bottom quarks, is presented. Both resonant and nonresonant production mechanisms of the Higgs bosons are investigated. The analyzed data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 2.70 fb1^{-1} of proton-proton collisions at s=13\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV collected with the CMS detector in 2015. Upper limits on the production cross section of spin-0 and spin-2 particles are set at 95%\% confidence level. In addition, upper limits on nonresonant Higgs pair production are also set and compared to the SM Higgs pair production cross section via gluon fusion. The observed data is in agreement with standard model predictions.
