Job description:
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position at Argonne National Laboratory as part of a newly funded  effort in computational cosmology within the US Department of Energy's Exascale Computing Project. The applicant must have deep interests in computational science and a solid record of achievement in high performance computing. Experience with cosmological and/or astrophysical simulations is expected, but in exceptional cases, not required.

Cosmological research at Argonne is targeted at dark energy, dark matter, inflation, and neutrinos. Theory, modeling, and analysis efforts emphasize multi-wavelength survey science (e.g., DES, DESI, LSST, SPT), cluster cosmology, and large-scale cosmological simulations. Access to world-leading supercomputing resources will be an essential aspect of this position.

Applicants should send 1) a CV, 2) a brief statement of research interests, and 3) arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to habib@anl.gov as soon as possible. Non-email correspondence should be sent to Salman Habib, HEP Division, Argonne National Laboratory, 9700 South Cass Avenue, Bldg. 360, Lemont, IL 60439.

A Ph.D. is required but must not have been obtained prior to 2014.
