Abstract: (Elsevier)
An analysis of the production of muon pairs in γγ collisions is presented. The leptonic structure functions of the photon, F 2 and 2 xF 1 , are extracted for Q 2 < 1.7 GeV 2 . Their x dependences agree well with QED predictions. Corrections are required to eliminate radiative effects in the 2 xF 1 data.- ELECTRON POSITRON: COLLIDING BEAMS
