Job description:
The Department of Physics at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Particle Physics Phenomenology.

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated but exceptional senior candidates will also be considered. We especially encourage candidates to apply with demonstrated expertise in neutrino and dark matter related research, with a background in particle-, astro- and/or nuclear physics.

The successful candidate will complement, extend, or charter new directions to the department’s existing strengths in theoretical neutrino physics, particle physics phenomenology and particle-astrophysics. The Center for Neutrino Physics (http://cnp.phys.vt.edu/) provides a stimulating research environment and close interactions with colleagues working on a wide range of neutrino and intensity frontier experiments.
