The Oklahoma State University High-Energy Physics group invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow to work on the ATLAS experiment.

 Our group currently participates in pixel detector operations, b-tagging calibrations, boosted object tagging, and a variety of physics analyses in the area of top quarks physics and searches for new physics.  The group is also involved in the Phase 2 ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITK) upgrade work, focusing on the optimization of the tracker geometry in terms of the b-tagging performance and development of the pixel detector powering system.
 
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics by the date of appointment.  The candidate is expected to play a leading role in analysis of Run 2 data, actively contribute to the Phase 2 ITK upgrade, and be able to mentor graduate students in the group.  The position is expected to involve frequent travel to CERN or residency at CERN.
