Abstract:
A search for charged lepton flavor violating decays has been performed using proton-proton collisions with a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The analysis uses the data set collected by the CMS detector in 2016, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 33 fb, and exploits leptons produced in D and B meson decays. No signal is observed, and an upper limit of is set at the confidence level on the branching fraction of the lepton to three muons.Note:
