Abstract: (Elsevier B.V.)
The thermodynamics of the Gross-Neveu model is analyzed at finite temperature and finite chemical potential μ on the lattice. The chiral transition is found to be first order for all μ > 0 and second order at μ = 0. The different phases are studied and direct evidence for the creation of a kink-antikink condensate at μc is presented.- FIELD THEORETICAL MODEL: GROSS-NEVEU
