Abstract: (Elsevier)
In a multiply connected manifold, M 4 ⊗S 3 /Z 2 , we compute at one-loop level the gauge symmetry breaking due to Wilson loops. For an SU(3) model without matter fields a non-trivial vacuum, which breaks the gauge symmetry has lower energy.- FIELD THEORY: HIGHER-DIMENSIONAL
