Abstract: (Elsevier)
We have searched for D 0 −D̄ 0 mixing in the cascade decay of D ∗+ , using the excellent particle identification of the ARGUS detector. No mixing was observed, leading to an upper limit of 1.4% (90%CL) for Γ( D 0 → D ̄ 0 →X′) Γ( D 0 → X) .
