Abstract: (Elsevier)
The formation of a quark-gluon plasma in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions is expected to lead to a substantial reduction of the J/ψ yield. We outline the basic features of the plasma model, discuss the expected transverse energy and momentum dependence of the suppression pattern and give a comparison with experimental data.- TALK: LENOX 1988
