Abstract (Elsevier)
The complex geometry and the geometric quantization for bosonic strings are discussed. It is found that the conformal anomalies in the holomorphic and anti-holomorphic Fock spaces may be interpreted as curvatures of the holomorphic and anti-holomorphic Fock bundles on G″ = G/H. The geometric interpretations of the BRST operator, and ghost and antighost operators are presented.
