Abstract: (Elsevier)
The baryon number one soliton of the NJL model is investigated including the isocalar vector meson ω. The euclidian effective action is separated into real and imaginary parts. The real part is regularized using Schwinger's proper time method. A consistent regularization scheme for the a priori finite imaginary part is proposed and numerical results for the static soliton energy are presented for both cases, regularized and unregularized imaginary part. Also, the various sources for the ω meson profile are discussed.- Jona-Lasinio-Nambu model
