Abstract:
After a brief introduction into basic aspects of the formulation of lattice regularized QCD at finite temperature and density we discuss our current understanding of the QCD phase diagram at finite temperature. We present results from lattice calculations that emphasize the deconfining as well as chiral symmetry restoring features of the QCD transition, and discuss the thermodynamics of the high temperature phase.Note:
