  • hydrogen gas target for diffraction studies is being pressed and we expect to install and check it out towards the end of this running period., For the fall running period we would install and check out the ~Odetector and then use the hydrogen gas target to carry out the diffraction dissociation studies. By spring we could install the polarized beam apparatus which in itself is fairly simple but which impose~ sophisticated requirements on the software analysis. Next summer we would expect to carry out the liquid hydrogen transmission target measurements.
