Job description:

The Theory Group of the Frascati National Laboratories (LNF) 
invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the memory of
professor Nicola Cabibbo for researches in Particle/Astroparticle
theory/phenomenology, starting in the fall 2021.

The position is for two years, with a possible extension for a third
year. The workplace will be for the first two years the Laboratori Nazionali
di Frascati, and for the additional year one among the following INFN
University sites in the Rome area:

- Sezione di Roma (Sapienza University),
- Sezione di Roma Tor Vergata (Rome Tor Vergata University),
- Sezione di Roma Tre (Rome 3 University).

The site for the third year will be decided by the LNF Director
jointly with the successful candidate, and subject to the approval
of the Director of the hosting structure, after completion of
the first year of fellowship.

Applicants should have a solid background in particle physics
phenomenology and in physics of the early Universe including, but not
restricted to, dark matter, baryo/leptogenesis, neutrino physics,
physics beyond the Standard Model, Dark Sectors, axion physics.

Requirements: For eligibility of the application, the candidate must
hold a Ph.D. in Physics or an equivalent qualification, obtained not
earlier than ten years with respect to the application deadline [see
the official “bando” for specific cases in which this limit can be
extended, and for additional eligibility conditions].

Salary: The annual gross salary is approximately 30,000 euros
and enjoys especially favorable fiscal no-tax conditions.
An additional yearly bonus of 5,000 euros for mobility and relocation
expenses will be paid out annually to eligible (non-local) candidates. 

Location: The LNF are located in Frascati, 20km. south-east of Rome
(Convenient connections are available from the nearby Tor Vergata train station).  
Interactions/collaborations with researchers of the three Rome 
Universities: RM1 "Sapienza", RM2 "Tor Vergata" and RM3 
occur on a regular basis.
