The Experimental Particle Physics group at UCAS (University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) invites applications for Research Assistant/Associate positions at UCAS. 

The post-holders are expected to play a leading role in testing the lepton universality and/or performing angular analysis with the flavour-changing neutral current (FCNC) processes. This is funded by the NSFC-CERN major international joint research project from 2021 to 2025. 

The post-holders can choose to be based at UCAS (Beijing), with frequent travel to CERN, or stay at CERN. The term of initial appointment is two years with the possibility of reappointment. The annual gross salary is around 300k RMB depending on the post-holder’s experience, and the post-holder will receive a monthly subsistence of 2000 CHF for the stay at CERN. 

Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or will have a Ph.D. degree by the time when the contract is signed.
