The Instituto de Física Corpuscular IFIC, Spain, invites expressions of interest for outstanding researchers interested in applying to the Excellence Research Programme (CIDEGENT) of the Valencian Regional Government (Generalitat Valenciana). The positions are for 4+2 years, and include a very competitive salary and a significant starting grant to create and support the researcher’s group along the duration of the position. A minimum of 6 years of postdoctoral experience is required to apply.

The Instituto de Física Corpuscular is a joint centre of the Spanish Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC) and the University of Valencia devoted to research in Nuclear, Particle and Astroparticle Physics, both experiment and theory, and applications to Medical Physics and other fields of Science and Technology. Among others, IFIC is involved in the following experiments: CERN-LHC, LSC, Canfranc-NEXT, RIKEN, GSI-FAIR-DESPEC, DUNE, and ANTARES/KM3.

The official deadline of the call is January the 29th.
