Job description:
The Department of Physics and Institute of Astronomy at National Tsing Hua
University (NTHU) in Hsinchu, Taiwan, invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in physics broadly defined. Candidates from, but not limited to, the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: high energy physics, condensed matter physics, AMO (atomic, molecular and optical) physics, and astronomy and astrophysics. The expected start date is August 1, 2022.
NTHU is one of the top-tier universities in Taiwan. The Department has strong research groups covering a wide range of projects in particle and astro-physics, including the ATLAS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. More

The position can be made at all faculty levels to match the candidates' research
interests and experiences. Research and teaching experiences beyond Ph.D. are
preferred. The successful candidate is expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and develop competitive research programs with global impact. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not required.
Each applicant should submit a CV (with research ID), a list of publications, copies of at most five representative papers, a description of research and teaching plans, and at least three reference letters.
