This postdoctoral vacancy in the area of relativistic heavy-ion collisions is jointly supported by Brookhaven National Laboratory and Kent State University and the work location will be Brookhaven. Duties involve about 50% of effort on specific software tasks related to the STAR time projection chamber, with the remainder of the time available to pursue STAR physics data analysis in any area of the appointee’s choosing. The appointee will report jointly to Drs. Lijuan Ruan (Brookhaven) and Declan Keane (Kent State).
