The INFN National Laboratories in Frascati (LNF) has opened a junior position for one year, renewable for additional two years, to work on the new Inner Tracker of the ATLAS detector, for the High Luminosity phase of the Large Hadron Collodier (LHC) at CERN.

The LNF group is in charge of the assembly and commissioning

of one outer pixel endcap detector, equipped with of ~1000 of silicon modules.

The candidate, according to his competence, is expected to contribute to one or more of these topics :

Applicants must hold an Italian or equivalent Master-level degree in Physics, Engineering, Material Science, Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics , obtained not earlier than 6 years before the call deadline.

The gross salary is around 20000 euros per year.

The winner of this technological research grant who has obtained the second level degree in a Province or Metropolitan City other than that where the research grant is seated, will receive an additional economic incentive.
