Job description:
The High Energy Physics group at Boston University. The successful candidate will join a diverse physics program and will be encouraged to develop their own ideas and interests. Examples of recent and ongoing efforts include top quark physics, searches for HH production, and searches for long-lived particles. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in the MIP Timing Layer upgrade, the CMS Muon system operations/upgrade, and/or ML/AI software development.
The work may be based either at Boston University, the Fermilab LHC Physics Center, or at CERN.
Candidates for the position should have a PhD in Physics and demonstrated excellence in high-energy physics research. Applicants should send a statement of interest and CV, and arrange for at least three letters of reference to be sent to Prof. Indara Suarez at isuarez@bu.edu
