Job description:
The Experimental Particle Physics group at UCAS (University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) invites talented and highly qualified candidates to apply for the postdoc positions at UCAS.
The post-holders will work on the hadron spectroscopy or/and testing the lepton universality in b-hadron decays at LHCb. The post-holders are supposed to contribute to the operation or/and the upgrade of the LHCb experiment. He/She can also choose to work partly on the CEPC project.
The post-holders will be based at UCAS, Beijing, with frequent travel to CERN; and it can be negotiated to be 50% at UCAS, 50% at CERN. The annual gross salary is around 300,000 CNY depending on experience. The post-holders will have an additional allowance of about 2,000 CHF per month when staying at CERN. The term of initial appointment is two years with the possibility of reappointment. It is possible for an outstanding candidate to be prompted as a tenure-track assistant professor of UCAS.
Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or will have a Ph.D. degree by the time when the contract is signed.
