Candidates are requested to possess background in experimental particle/astroparticle physics, with a PhD in the field, with expertise in R&D, data analysis, MC simulation and laboratory skills, in particular for gas detectors. Experience in operating particle detectors at neutron beam would result in an additional asset. The research activities will focus on the development of detector and experimental setup at a neutron beam facility for the measurement of the Migdal effect with an high precision Time Projection chamber with optical readout via sCMOS camera and PMTs. The selected candidate will have the chance to take part also to the CYGNO/INITIUM project activities for the installation and operation of a directional Dark Matter search detector at underground Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso and to the CYGNUS proto-collaboration.
