The Department of Physics at the University of Ljubljana seeks a physicist with expertise in the field of experimental high-energy physics to join the faculty as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. This part-time (50%, tenure or tenure-track, depending on experience) appointment includes research and teaching at first-, second-, and third-cycle levels as well as supervising master and PhD theses. 

The selected candidate is expected to develop original research at the highest international level, to be able to coordinate a research group, to secure external national or international funding, to have good pedagogical skills for teaching and the ability to initiate communication and outreach programs for the Faculty.

We offer financial, technical and administrative support to initiate the research. The position is available from October 1 2023 onwards.
