Job description:
The Electronics Design Laboratory at Kansas State University (KSU) invites applications for full-time research electrical engineer position. The KSU High-Energy Physics group (Bolton, Horton-Smith, Ivanov, Kaadze, Maravin) is active in designing and building electronics for the Mu2e and DUNE experiments, as well as for several high-luminosity LHC upgrade projects at the CMS experiment, including the inner pixel tracker, and the barrel timing layer.
The candidate is required to hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with five years of relevant experience and have strong skills in some of the following areas: FPGA firmware and high speed digital design, embedded systems design and programming, PCB schematics and layout, low noise analog circuit design, python scripting, and project management.
