Job description:
Position No. 00053639. The experimental high-energy physics group at Southern Methodist University invites applications for a postdoctoral position, associated with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. In this role, a postdoc would be expected to take a leading role in physics measurements of the Higgs sector, focusing on final states with hadronic Higgs boson decays. Additionally, a postdoc would ideally take a leading role in software and/or performance work, particularly in areas related to jets. The position can be located either at CERN or in Dallas.
 
Qualifications: completed requirements for a doctoral degree in physics or related field by start date; Experience in particle physics research with the ATLAS or CMS detectors at the LHC.
