Job description:

For the Particle Physics Theory Group at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) we are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow for precision calculations at the low-energy high-intensity frontier. 

Your tasks

  • Perform research in particle physics phenomenology with emphasis on the low‐energy precision frontier
  • Contribute to improving theoretical predictions for scattering processes
  • Maintenance of international scientific collaborations
  • Exchange of information with experimental groups at PSI and other low-energy particle physics experiments

Your profile

  • PhD degree in theoretical particle physics
  • Experience in perturbative higher‐order calculations in the Standard Model
  • Publication of research results in scientific literature and presentations at international conferences

Your employment contract is initially limited to two years, with start expected in autumn 2024.
