Job description:
For the Particle Physics Theory Group at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) we are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow for precision calculations at the low-energy high-intensity frontier.
Your tasks
- Perform research in particle physics phenomenology with emphasis on the low‐energy precision frontier
- Contribute to improving theoretical predictions for scattering processes
- Maintenance of international scientific collaborations
- Exchange of information with experimental groups at PSI and other low-energy particle physics experiments
Your profile
- PhD degree in theoretical particle physics
- Experience in perturbative higher‐order calculations in the Standard Model
- Publication of research results in scientific literature and presentations at international conferences
Your employment contract is initially limited to two years, with start expected in autumn 2024.
