Centre for High Energy Physics (CHEP) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) invites applications for Raman postdoctoral fellowships and Institute of Eminence (IoE) endowed Institute Post-doctoral fellowships in the fields of theoretical particle physics and astroparticle physics.

The members of the phenomenology group are Prof. Balasubramanian

Ananthanarayan, Dr. Biplob Bhattacherjee, Prof. Rohini Godbole (Honorary Prof.), Dr. Ranjan Laha, Dr. Nirmal Raj, and Prof. Sudhir K. Vempati.

Qualifications and experience: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) in the preceding degree and a good academic record throughout. Applicants who have not yet submitted their thesis and are short listed are expected to submit their thesis submission certificate before starting in the position.

The preferred deadline for requesting the consent letter is 20th December 2023. The candidate is requested to send their CV to the relevant faculty members. The candidate is also requested to arrange for 3 confidential letters of recommendation, and request their letter writers to send them to the relevant faculty member in CHEP. The preferred deadline for sending us the CV and recommendation letter is 20th December 2023. The deadline for application via the IISc portal is 31th December 2023.

Such applicants are also requested to arrange for 3 letters of recommendation and send them to the relevant faculty member. Candidates must have successfully defended their thesis at the time of joining.
