Job description:
We invite applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associates at ATLAS, with a flexible starting date between February 2024 - Summer 2024.
The successful candidates will lead novel Higgs analyses or di-Higgs searches in the di-photon decay channel, and deliver new photon trigger or identification and calibration developments to substantially progress Higgs analyses.
The position is initially 30-month (2.5-year) appointment, which may be extended upon successful performance and funding availability. We aim to hold zoom interviews in the end of January 2024.
Qualifications:
Possess, or on track to obtain a PhD in particle physics before end of August 2024, and a proven track record of high quality research in particle physics. In addition to candidates with experience in experimental particle physics, we welcome applications from excellent and motivated candidates with particle physics theory or phenomenology background.
