The successful candidate is expected to carry out physics analyses within the ATLAS experiment. The main topic will be the investigation of the production of top quarks in proton-proton collisions. The candidate is also expected to contribute to a smooth operation of the experiment. For more information, see the linked web page of Charles University.

The position is located in Prague, Czech Republic. The expected starting date is April 1, 2024. The starting date can be changed based on a mutual agreement. The position is initially limited to two years, with the possibility of an extension subject to funding availability. Applicants should hold a PhD degree in experimental particle physics or similar. A significant expertise in data analyses and excellent programming skills are required.
