The Theory Group of the Frascati National Laboratories (LNF) invites applications for a senior postdoctoral position in Particle/Astroparticle theory/phenomenology, with focus on the following topic:

       “Axion phenomenology in grand-unified theories”.

The position is for two years.

Requirements: For eligibility of the application, the candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Physics or an equivalent qualification.

 

Applicants should have a solid background in particle physics phenomenology and in physics of the early Universe including, but not restricted to, physics beyond the Standard Model, Dark Sectors, Dark Matter and, in particular, Axion Physics.

 

Salary: The annual gross salary is approximately 31,300 euros and enjoys especially favourable fiscal conditions for candidates coming from abroad.

An additional yearly bonus of 5,000 euros for mobility and relocation expenses will be paid out annually to eligible

(non-local) candidates.

 

Location: The LNF are located in Frascati, 20km south-east of Rome.
