Job description:
Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics of Charles University in Prague invites applications for the postdoctoral position in the field of physics of heavy-ion collisions.

The team at Charles University focuses on analyses using data from the ATLAS experiment involving jets, jet substructure, and charmonia. In the past fourteen years, the team has led or significantly contributed to several key measurements in the field. The team also works on phenomenological modeling of jet quenching and charmonia suppression and on developing new methods for efficiently mitigating large backgrounds present in proton-proton and heavy-ion collisions at the LHC.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in the field of particle physics or in an adjacent field. They should have good programming skills in C++, Python, and Root. They should also have experience analyzing data from experiments in particle physics.
