The Theory Group at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Garching plans to make appointments at the postdoctoral level starting in Fall 2025.

The Theory Group is led by directors Georgi Dvali, Johannes Henn, Dieter Lüst, and Giulia Zanderighi, with staff members and group leaders Arnd Behring, Lasha Berezhiani, Ralph Blumenhagen, Rhorry Gauld, Ulrich Haisch, Georg Raffelt, Frank Steffen, Stephan Stieberger, and Marius Wiesemann.

The interests of the group include a wide range of topics in theoretical and phenomenological particle physics relevant for the LHC and future colliders, physics beyond the Standard Model, effective field theories, scattering amplitudes, string theory, astroparticle physics and cosmology, gravitational theories, and mathematical and non-perturbative aspects of field theory.
