The Interdisciplinary Center for Theoretical Study (ICTS) at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) invites applications for multiple tenure-track assistant professor positions in broad areas of theoretical physics including: String/M-theory, Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics Phenomenology, Gravity, Cosmology and Mathematical Physics, with emphasis on particle physics phenomenology. These positions are expected to start on 1st October 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. 

We seek candidates with an established record of high-impact research to conduct an independent research program and to teach and advise our undergraduate and graduate students. A Ph.D. in physics and at least three-year postdoctoral experience are required. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Successful candidates will join the newly established Peng Huanwu Center for Fundamental Theory (PCFT), supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
