The ELTE LHCb/CODEX-b group invites applications for the Momentum MSCA fellowship. The total gross salary will be 3522 Euros/month for 36 months + other generous allowances. More details can be found here:

The group is involved in a broad range of physics activities:

-- amplitude analyses with rare b->sl+l- and semileptonic b->clnu decays, particularly with b-baryons, which is the strength of LHCb's core program

-- amplitude analyses for exotic hadron spectroscopy

-- dark sector searches at LHCb and CODEX-b. Utilizing ML techniques for new triggers to search of long-lived particles, particular joint LHCb-CODEX-b triggers.

-- integrating CODEX-b (as a new sub-detector) into the full LHCb simulation/reconstruction software stack.

-- contributing to the LHCb Upgrade II ECal R&D. In particular, measurements with an optical bench for testing new-generation radiation-hard (PMTs with tens of picosecond resolutions).

Any of the above, or even any other mutually agreeable topic related to LHCb/CODEX-b can be foreseen as a research plan.

This is expected to be a highly competitive call, targeting candidates with demonstrable track record.
