Abstract: (APS)
A gauge-invariant treatment of two-dimensional QCD in the large-N limit is carried out in a canonical formalism where neither the question of gauge choice nor the problem of infrared cutoff arises. The gauge invariance of the 't Hooft equation and the possibility of nonperturbative features in the large-N limit are investigated.- QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS: TWO-DIMENSIONAL
