Abstract: (APS)
An amplitude analysis of π+π−→π0π0 scattering, from the reaction π+p→Δ++π0π0, has been carried out between 1.0 and 2.3 GeV. The data are consistent with only one of the four π−π phase-shift solutions determined from π+π−→π+π− data. A new JPC=2++ state at 1800 MeV with a width of 280 MeV is observed.
