Abstract: (Elsevier)
We point out that the main decays of Higgs bosons (H) may be quite different from those conventionally envisaged. In particular, if there exists the axion (a), the majoron (M) and the light Higgs (h) of Gelmini and Roncadelli, or a massive neutrino, one or more of the decays [rmH]→ aa , hh , MM , and v v ̄ , which yield effectively undetectable final states, may well dominate over other modes. We discuss the implications for searches for, and bounds on, Higgs particles.- POSTULATED PARTICLE: HIGGS PARTICLE
