Cancellation of infrared divergences to all orders in light front QED

Abstract: (APS)
We present an all-order proof of the cancellation of infrared (IR) divergences in light-front quantum electrodynamics using a coherent state approach. It is shown, using fermion mass renormalization as an example, that the true IR divergences are eliminated to all orders in a light-front time-ordered perturbative calculation if one uses a coherent state basis instead of the usual Fock basis to calculate the Hamiltonian matrix elements.Note:
